Apply your heart to instruction, and your ears to words of knowledge – Proverbs 23:12.
Herein is sound knowledge; “The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day,” Proverbs 4:18. The Lord is saying as His child you get better with time, period. Incline your ear to these wise words and apply your heart to this knowledge. Stop speaking like the world; it’s the trap of the enemy to make you degenerate. Children of God grow in wisdom and in stature, we are supposed to be the envy of our juniors, but instead we speak contrary to the word of God and harvest a curse. The foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom. Your bones aren’t crackling, satan is throwing suggestions at you and you are lapping the bate up like a dog. God renews your youth like the eagle’s, this is your portion.
“You’ll arrive at your grave ripe with many good years, like sheaves of golden grain at harvest,” Job 5:26 MSG. “Is not wisdom found among the aged? Does not long life bring understanding?” Job 12:12. “Long life is the reward of the righteous; gray hair is a glorious crown,” Proverbs 16:31. Old age is not a curse, old age in the path of righteousness is a reward for the righteous, it is the goal for the young and wet behind the ears, the ultimate glow up! Please brethren, be not conformed to the standards of this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. If you are older than us, you are supposed to be the standard for us. So where you at?
