Whose Report Will You Believe?

Whose Report Will You Believe?

As we enter into God’s faith-rest life we cease from our own works, just as God celebrates his finished works and rests in them – Hebrews 4:10 TPT.

Faith rests in what God has said, when life has me down, I revisit what God has said about me and also what He has said to me, I then look around and start acting appropriately according to what God has said. God has said that I will lend and not borrow (Deuteronomy 15:6), so when I’m faced with a situation where I need money, I remind myself of what God has said then I wait on Him and refuse to borrow. When I am in a place where I am mistreated, I remind myself that God said I am the head and not the tail, I lift my head and act appropriately.

The enemy will come through people and situations to treat or tell you the opposite of what God has said but whose report will you believe? What God has said about you is a part of God’s finished works; He has not and will not change His mind. So rest in what God has said to you and about you and act appropriately. “I am a child of God, full of the Holy Spirit, signs and wonders follow me.” As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he (Proverbs 23:7).

Rest in what God has said to you and about you and act appropriately
