The Kingdom of Heaven is like the yeast a woman used in making bread. Even though she put only a little yeast in three measures of flour, it permeated every part of the dough – Matthew 13:33 NLT.
Many people on earth are searching for something that will fulfil them, and fill the void that’s in their hearts. They are looking for the next best book to read that will transform their lives and hopefully fill the emptiness in their hearts. I believe everyone genuinely wants to be a good person and wish they could wash off the imperfections they don’t like about themselves. The problem is they are using carnal wisdom to try to solve a spiritual problem.
The word of God when it encounters you, and you have an open and willing (surrendered) spirit, will transform you into an image of Christ. It works in you and through you effortlessly without anyone’s or any book’s assistance. It will work through every single fibre in your heart, and the internal workings will have external results. This is the mystery that’s hidden to the rest of the world and is made available to the children of God. It is a gift we did not earn and do not deserve, yet He that has given it has done so without measure.
“So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image,” 2 Corinthians 3:18 NLT. When we allow the Word to accomplish what it was destined to do we are constantly being transformed from glory to glory. The beginning might seem like a mustard seed small yet when the tree has reached its destined end it shall provide comfort and shade to the disadvantaged and scorched ( Matthew 13:31-33). We do not despise the day of small beginnings because the end result shall be evident at the set time. “The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day,” Proverbs 4:18 NIV.
