Who Can Understand The Love Of God?

Who Can Understand The Love Of God?

Here’s the secret: The gospel of grace has made you, non-Jewish believers, into coheirs of his promise through your union with him. And you have now become members of his body—one with the Anointed One! – Ephesians 3:6 TPT.

As Christians sometimes we fail to grasp the fact that we are no longer sinners, we are no longer in the world. We’re God’s beloved, so we also ought to love and accept each other. We must not condemn others or ourselves when we have done wrong seeing we are loved and have been forgiven. The love of God is pure and does not carry any punishment [1 John 4:8]. Jesus died for us on the cross so that we may live life to its fullest and not go back to the things that take us away from His presence.

We have a choice to make, either we are in Christ or we are in the world. By staying connected to Christ we stay in Him. When we go back to the things that Jesus died to set us free from, we are taking Jesus back to the cross. We render the death of Christ null and void. The death of Christ removed all sin and it is time for all people of God to come to the understanding of this truth. The aim of Jesus dying on the cross is that we may be free and to know how much God loves us.

Have you ever seen how difficult it is to face someone you have wronged? We can avoid them for weeks because of the embarrassment of what we have done. Even though God still loves us in our weaknesses, we distance ourselves from His presence. When Jesus died for us everything was deleted in the book of judgment, we were made new creatures [2 Corinthians 5:17]. Our Scripture reading bears significance of this fact, hence it is a mystery. No one on earth can die for you no matter how much they love you, but Jesus did.

Therefore, beloved let us walk in the love that God has for us, so that in turn we may love others with the same love. Let us ask the Holy Spirit to give understanding of this love that we may stay connected to Him. If we are connected in Christ we are therefore not condemned [Romans 12:1].

When Jesus died for us everything was deleted in the book of judgment, we were made new creatures in Him
