When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you – Isaiah 43:2 AMPC.
I was reading about Joseph and how he went from the pit to the palace, and throughout the story I saw God’s hand upon the life of Joseph. The other thing that stood out for me was how at different places God used people to save, help and even favor Joseph. God has given us a promise that we are never alone, whatever we go through, He’s always there and He’s not limited, He even uses people for us (Genesis 37-50).
God sees the whole picture while we may only see pieces of the puzzle, so when we go through something we don’t understand, we must ask. James tells us that when we don’t understand, we should ask for wisdom (James 1:5). How often do we take life-altering decisions based on emotions or what we hear or see? The word of God tells us to take heed what we hear (Mark 4:24). So when God has said something, know that the devil will say the opposite and the choice is ours to make as to whose report we will believe.
We are never alone, the victory is ours, no matter what comes; God is with us. He’s given us His Holy Spirit, our spiritual leaders and fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord for this journey. So we are never alone, don’t allow the devil to isolate you and tell you that you are alone. Oftentimes we become casualties because we allow the devil to isolate us and end up believing his lies. The word of God further tells us that there is no truth in him, so there’s nothing he can tell you that is true (John 8:44).
Oftentimes we become casualties because we allow the devil to isolate us and we end up believing his lies
