We all experience times of testing, which is normal for every human being. But GOD will be faithful to you. He will screen and filter the severity, nature, and timing of every test or trial you face so that you can bear it. And each test is an opportunity to trust him more, for along with every trial GOD has provided for you a way of escape that will bring you out of it victoriously – 1 Corinthians 10:13 TPT.
In the book of Joshua chapter 1 verse 9 we are given a command from the LORD to be strong and courageous, to not be afraid or discouraged, then He promises us that He is with us wherever we go. I believe the reason for this is because GOD has already given us victory but He knows that the devil will come at us with fear. GOD has called each and every one of us into greatness but to achieve what is set out before us we will need to be strong and courageous and at the same time not feed fear when fear is thrown at us.
“Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit!” Hebrews 12:1a MSG. There are many saints who have gone before us that have run this race successfully and are cheering us on, there’s no reason why we cannot make it, there’s no reason why we shouldn’t make it, all of Heaven is rooting for us. Everything GOD has promised us is on the other side of fear, fear feeds on facts but we have the Truth which is God’s word. Facts are temporary but Truth/God’s word is eternal. Your greatest testimonies will come from your greatest battles; embrace the battles for they are bringing your blessings.
For the joy set before Him, Jesus endured the cross, He is our greatest example, as difficult as it was, He knew that what was to come was worth going to the cross for. GOD has given us promises and He has also told us that our tests have been screened and filtered (severity, nature and timing) for each and every one of us to be able to bear them. He has also provided a way out and that way out is victory, so we cannot fail, we will not fail because the One in us has overcome on our behalf (John 16:33).
