Jesus said, “You believe because I told you I saw you under the fig tree. You will see greater things than that – John 1:50 NIV.

Nathaniel was a very odd fella who spoke what was on his mind. He probably said things others thought of but were too afraid to say. He was genuine and there was nothing fake about him. “Can anything good come from there” is a statement  he’ll always be remembered for. Yet this character impressed Christ. Because of his belief Christ promised him that he would see even greater things.

This means in the kingdom of GOD everything starts by believing, then more mysteries are revealed to the one who believes. Everything starts by your belief because this then provokes GOD to show off. When you go for a church service you must believe that the supernatural will occur, and it will because GOD is provoked by faith and belief.

Mark 16:16-18 touches on this very matter. If you don’t believe these things cannot and will not follow you. Imagine signs, miracles and wonders roaming around the earth trying to follow those that believe. Imagine they are blind and can only sense belief. They are on a certain wavelength and the frequency is belief and faith. The absence of miracles in our lives is as a result of our lack of belief.

Christ spoke to a fig tree and cursed it and when they later walked passed it only the disciples looked at the tree. He did not even look at it because after He spoke to it He believed what He said had already manifested, to Him it was already done. The “unbelievers” around Him still wanted proof.

When reading this just make a conscious decision to believe that this week and beyond supernatural phenomena will follow you. GOD says taste and see. Test Him on this and “Now you shall see whether what I say will happen to you or not,” Numbers 11:23.
