In certain ways we are weak, but the Spirit is here to help us. For example, when we don’t know what to pray for, the Spirit prays for us in ways that cannot be put into words – Romans 8:26 CEV.
GOD is Spirit and those that worship Him should do so in spirit. The Bible is very clear with regards to how we are meant to interact with GOD. Because He is Spirit so those that aspire to always be in His presence ought to always be in the Spirit. For we did not receive a spirit of the world but that which is from GOD. So when we are going through the most this very same Spirit intercedes on our behalf. On the one hand we have a great High Priest who’s pleading our case and on the other the Spirit who is also interceding (talk about bringing an AK 47 to a knife fight).
In 1 Corinthians 2:9-13 we can see that there is a great measure of glory that is available to those who are on a specific ‘frequency’, and that frequency is the Holy Spirit. The way it was revealed to me is like this: God’s will for us is like a huge puzzle with many pieces still not in their places and we also have our own will that must fit into God’s bigger puzzle. Holy Spirit is that intermediary, aka hook-up, that is privy to all information and He tells us which pieces are missing to complete the puzzle. On our own we can’t complete the puzzle because we don’t know God’s perfect will for our lives. Those without the Spirit are building puzzles in vain. Even if they finish them they are not operating in God’s perfect will for their lives.
Romans 8:28 actually is referring to the Christians whom the Spirit is interceding for and not for everyone as the world and some Christians believe. It’s only those who allow the Spirit to intercede for them (e.g. praying in the Spirit) who always have things work out for their good. Many Christians are quoting and standing on this verse in vain because the catalyst is the Holy Spirit. He works out everything for our good in line with God’s plan/will for our lives only if we allow Him to intercede for us. To the rest of the world it looks and sounds crazy, but to us who are in the know it is the power of GOD.
So you don’t need anything or anyone else (save that R1000 for those one-on-one’s) but Holy Spirit to intervene in your situation. Even when you don’t know where you are falling short (not knowing what to pray for) the Holy Spirit takes over and pleads your case. The result is GOD blessing you with things you didn’t even ask for and it wasn’t your righteousness but Holy Ghost who hooked you up. The silent and anonymous arsenal that is a prayer away. Holy Ghost our secret weapon.
Holy Spirit works out everything for our good in line with God’s plan/will for our lives only if we allow Him to intercede for us
