Delegated Authority & Power (Contd II), 28 July 2020 Do your best at all costs to avoid critical, complaining, disgruntled and unhappy fellow believers. They’re not pushing God’s agenda, but their own and are being used of the devil unwittingly and inadvertently. A person with a pure heart, filled with and led by the Holy Spirit is a peacemaker, a unifier and a builder. All these are not necessarily by spiritual growth or maturity, they issue from a pure heart, especially one simply born again.
A critical and complaining spirit is the most dangerous for your spiritual wellbeing, that of others and of the Body of Christ. This spirit destroys and cannot build. That’s why there are believers who are followed by a trail of destruction: destroyed relations, churches, businesses, jobs, etc. They have a wrong spirit they’re refusing to acknowledge and confront so that they can be helped.
All this is so that one doesn’t grow and reach their full potential in Christ, but keep moving from place to place and never really become fruitful in winning and building souls for the kingdom. A critical, judgemental and complaining believer will eventually mislead and misguide you no matter how much they claim to care and love you. They claim to care and love you, but in an actual fact they’re injecting you with their poison and cancer of criticism, judgmentalism and murmuring.
A critical, judgemental and complaining believer will eventually mislead and misguide you no matter how much they claim to care and love you
They’re always victims of the system, of leadership and of other believers, they say. They love and care more than anyone else does, they see injustice more than anyone else does, they know exactly what’s wrong with everyone. Seemingly if they’d be given the chance they’d do things very differently in a very loving and caring manner. This is when you know you’re not dealing with the Spirit of GOD, but of delusions of grandeur, which by the way is a spiritual and psychological problem or anomaly.
Jesus is looking for faith and fruitfulness, not your petty issues with others. He’s looking for your relationship with the Holy Ghost, not your dead-end interpersonal relationships. He’s expecting you to walk in your authority and power to forge ahead from victory to victory – no matter the challenges. This is your power season. Wake up and smell the victory. The Spirit of the Lord is talking and calling you to the next level, to a view where you’ll see things clearer than you’re seeing them now, to a place in spirit that is less crowded than where you currently are, to a mountaintop where distracting winds, earthquakes and fires will be silenced, and you will hear His sweet, still, small voice, (1 Kings 19:11-13). Arise, O thou sleeper, He’s calling you higher.
