(Compiled by Pastor Vuyani Dombo)
As a child of GOD nothing happens to you that your Father in Heaven, who lives inside of you through His Holy Spirit, does not know. If GOD allows you to go through tests, trials, or temptations, He will be with you throughout, because tests, trials, and temptations have a divine purpose. GOD does not only know what we go through, but He is also involved, and He has a perfect plan. GOD will not allow His children to go through tests, trials, and temptations, except that He has a purpose and plan for His children throughout the trial, difficulty, challenge, or trouble. Not only will GOD assist you to bear it, but GOD will also do you good at the end (1 Corinthians 10:13). GOD has a breakthrough prepared for us at the end of it all, so as long as He is with us, there is no reason to panic, be discouraged or to fear. We will not get into a situation of distress without GOD knowing, permitting, and making a way of escape for us. GOD will not allow you to go through a squeeze if He has no intentions of giving you breakthrough and doing you good in the end.
GOD has a plan for your distress, trial, tribulation, or persecution. GOD led the children of Israel through the wilderness for 40 years, not just for the sake of it, but there was something that GOD wanted to cultivate. At the end of it all, He wanted to bless them and do them good (Deuteronomy 8:15-16). GOD had blessings for the children of Israel in mind. Similarly, GOD knew what He was doing when He allowed the devil to vex Job. At the end, the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before, because the plan of GOD all along was to bless Job (Job 42:10,12). When GOD allows us to go through hardship, He has a plan to bless us. The GOD of the mountain top is the same GOD in the valley, and He will never leave us, nor forsake us or reject us because we are the beloved of the LORD. It does not matter what you are going through, you are still the beloved of the LORD. What you are passing through does not define you because your GOD is a GOD of breakthrough. GOD has not forgotten what He has planned for you on the other side of your challenge.
The life of Jabez was characterized by, and synonymous with pain. So much so, that he began to cry out to the GOD of Israel, that the LORD would bless him, that the LORD’s favor would rest upon him, that He would enlarge his territory, and that He would make the blessing permanent by protecting him; and the LORD surely answered him (1 Chronicles 4:9-10). If we would cry out to GOD like Jabez, He will surely increase us. GOD understands your pain and He is the GOD of breakthrough. Be unashamed to ask GOD for more! The same GOD of cleanliness, righteousness, and holiness is also the GOD of blessings, deliverance, and breakthrough. He is omnipotent and He can do all things. Where you have been and where you are does not compare in the least to where GOD is taking you. GOD always gives us more than what we had after every uncomfortable situation we go through. You will be better off at the end of the Covid-19 pandemic than you were before the pandemic began! This is the seasonal, prophetic word of GOD and all that is required of us is only to believe. This word of GOD requires a response of faith for it to profit us.
Every time that GOD allows you to go through suffering, let this mind be in you, that after suffering, GOD will exalt you in blessing (Philippians 2:5-9). “The suffering won’t last forever. It won’t be long before this generous GOD who has great plans for us in Christ – eternal and glorious plans they are! – will have you put together and on your feet for good. He gets the last word; yes, He does” – 1 Peter 5:10-11 MSG. You will not be crippled by what you are going through, and GOD will not permit you to go through suffering without blessing you in the end. After every trial, difficulty, or challenge that we go through we will come out stronger in faith and better in blessings.
Every time that GOD allows you to go through suffering, let this mind be in you, that after suffering, GOD will exalt you in blessing.
