The LORD, My Deliverer

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.” – Psalms 34:19 NKJV

In this life that we live here on earth, we will ALL go through stuff that at that moment feels like it is not coming to an end. Stuff that is beyond our own strength to come out of. Stuff that needs GOD and only GOD! What are you waiting for? Open your mouth and cry out to GOD! See if He won’t deliver you from whatever it is that you are faced with. GOD will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13). The same GOD who was with the three Hebrew boys in the fire is the same GOD who is with you today because He is the same, yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).

“For we do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, of our trouble which came to us in Asia: that we were burdened beyond measure, above strength, so that we despaired even of life. Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in GOD who raises the dead, who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us,” (II Corinthians 1:8-10 NKJV). When you are faced with situations that are above your strength and you feel like you can’t take anymore, it’s time to tap into the strength of GOD. How can we call GOD our deliverer if He’s never delivered us? Let us also remind ourselves of what GOD has done in the past because with Him the results are always the same, if He’s delivered us before, He will deliver us again.

“knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” (James 1:3-4 NKJV). It is faith that will overcome whatever we may be faced with, faith in the One who called us. This same faith is there to do a work in us so that we may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. Allow faith through patience to have its perfect work. Whatever you may be going through, GOD is with you (Isaiah 43:2) and He will deliver you from all your afflictions because He is the LORD, our Deliverer.

When you are faced with situations that are above your strength and you feel like you can’t take anymore, it’s time to tap into the strength of GOD. How can we call GOD our deliverer if He’s never delivered us?
