You Must Ask!

You Must Ask!

“If imperfect parents know how to lovingly take care of their children and give them what they need, how much more will the perfect heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit’s fullness when his children ask him.” – Luke‬ ‭11:13‬ ‭TPT‬‬

GOD is a giver, anything that we will ever need or ever receive on this earth as children of God comes from GOD, the Father of light (James 1:7). There is nothing that GOD will withhold from His children that is in line with His will and purpose for our lives. GOD wants us to be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, for us to walk worthy of Him, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of Him (Colossians‬ ‭1:9-10‬).

GOD wants us to ask, we must ask! We must ask for the Holy Spirit, to be continuously filled with the Holy Spirit, He is the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge, and of the fear of the LORD. He is our all-in-one! When we have Him, we have everything we need to navigate through this life. But we must ask! And GOD assures us that when we ask, GOD will give us the Holy Spirit in His fullness.

It is God’s will for us to be filled with the Holy Spirit because when we are led by the Holy Spirit, there is no failure, there is no defeat. Yes, there may be challenges but even those challenges GOD will use for our ultimate benefit (Romans 8:28). Even when the promises of God begin to manifest, We will enjoy them because He adds no sorrow with them (Proverbs 10:22). What are you waiting for? Ask! He will not disappoint you! When you have Him and allow Him to lead you, you won’t be found lacking in wisdom, knowledge, and understanding and it is impossible to receive wisdom, knowledge, and understanding without the accompanying riches.

GOD assures us that when we ask, GOD will give us the Holy Spirit in His fullness.
