“Let all things be done decently and in order.” – 1 Corinthians 14:40
It’s not possible that we have the same medium of instruction as believers, yet we are manifesting all types of confusion, differing ideas and ideals, dissenting beliefs, social justice warriors in the Church fighting the “system”, rioting (in the heart), and the like. The instructions are clear in Scripture for all to follow, but it would seem we are finessing our Christian walk, making things up along the way to suit our alive and well flesh (carnality) which ought to have died that it may be made alive to Christ. I have done my fair share of spiritual rioting and picketing, it never, not even once changed the Kingdom system, instead it defiled my soul and opened me up to sickness. If not for the mercies of God, there wouldn’t have been an opportunity for me to repent. Though I am working on these things, you don’t have to tell me twice, the things of the Kingdom are to be adopted and adapted to, period. It’s how it works, and it makes for successful Christian living.
The Bible tells us that we’ve been given all things that pertain to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3) and that we are blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3), well in Ephesians 4:11-12 lies all that blessedness. When you have a spiritual leader set by GOD over you, you are blessed. Yours is to rejoice because GOD has set you up for covering, direction, and victory. Yours is to pray for your spiritual head, obey and make sure that they execute their duty with ease (Romans 13:1-2, Hebrews 13:17) because as they work, they are working for you. Don’t trouble yourself so much with what to do and say in your life of submission to GOD under His set mentors, just fix your heart. Yes, it will take a bit out of you, but it will be the most fulfilling thing that you do with your Christian life, develop a heart of submission. Rest, take it easy, GOD is not taking chances with your life, Amen!
