It is mind blowing that the Creator of the universe chose to live on the inside of us. This is so big that even most professing Christians have not accepted this reality. We’ve reasoned with our minds that it’s not possible. Well, it’s true. He lives on the inside of us, each and every one of us who have accepted and put our trust in Jesus as our LORD and Saviour. So not only the Person but also the same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives on the inside of us (Romans 8:11). Selah.
We have the power to overcome on the inside of us, but why are we defeated? We are often defeated because we are so outward focused when we should be looking and drawing strength from within. Our victory is found in the One who lives on the inside of us. When our reality suggests the opposite of what GOD has said, we should look inward. It is through our faith that has been given to us that we can speak our victory, speak what GOD has said. The grace for us to overcome all things has already been provided.
What would have become of us had we not believed that we would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living? We are still here, still believing, still holding on because we believe that what He has promised, He will do. This has nothing to do with what it looks like on the outside but it has everything to do with our inner reality. We are not of those who look outward but we look inward.
