“Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you.” – I John 3:13 NKJV
“If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.” – John 15:18-19 NKJV
If you know me and have read some of my previous submissions, you might’ve read or heard me say, “The greatest tragedy in life is being successful in the wrong thing.” It’s tragic in that, we only get one chance, there are no dress rehearsals. This, for me, simply means that once you know what GOD has said, do it, and do it with all your might and, dare I say, with all your heart. Give it your all, give it your best shot. Life is in seasons, so if you find yourself in your waiting season, or waiting for direction or instruction, do like the cliché says, “Do what WAITers do, serve.”
Waiting, to the world seems foolish. Committing yourself to serving GOD when your life seems to be falling apart and not working out seems even more foolish… to the world. The Word of GOD, however, tells us that the world hates us, so when the world calls us foolish and provides us with alternatives, we must know that it’s not in our best interest. Life is in Christ, no matter what it may look like on the outside. Commit yourself, commit your life to Him! He has only the best for you (Jeremiah 29:11).
“So Jesus answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.’” Mark 10:29-30 NKJV. Let GOD be true and every man a liar. If GOD has said it, He will do it! Do not allow the world to disconnect you from the Vine. Time is not gone, you are not too old, and you have not wasted time. Time belongs to GOD! Commit your life to Him, He will never fail you, (you can quote me on this).
