“So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, and said, “LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.” – II Kings 6:16-17 NKJV
As believers, we are GOD’s anointed (as we learned last week), and we are heavily guarded and backed by heaven. It is our responsibility to seek out the knowledge and revelation of who we are and what the Word of GOD says about us after being born again. When we grow in this knowledge, we will not fear because we will be well aware of Who is fighting for us. It’s just like how delegates or royalty from other countries, when visiting South Africa, are heavily guarded everywhere they go and even transported with a special convoy with blue lights, so are we here on earth. “These heroes all died still clinging to their faith, not even receiving all that had been promised them. But they saw beyond the horizon the fulfillment of their promises and gladly embraced it from afar. They all lived their lives on earth as those who belonged to another realm.” Hebrews 11:13 TPT.
“They all lived their lives on earth as those who belonged to another realm.” This is who we are, we are GOD’s people from another realm, we are merely aliens and pilgrims here on the earth. This is the reality of those born of GOD, not of the flesh, but of GOD. “That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’” John 3:6-7 NKJV. We have been given this gift of salvation and tasked to go and share it with others, it is through the Word of GOD that we get to understand the truths about this Kingdom.
“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.” Philippians 4:8 NKJV. These are the truths that we should meditate on because when we know who and Whose we are, we will walk in the victory that has already been won for us. We will not fear any opposition because we are heavily guarded.
It is our responsibility to seek out the knowledge and revelation of who we are and what the Word of GOD says about us after being born again
