“But those who wait for the LORD [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to GOD] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired.“ – Isaiah 40:31 AMP
With all that’s going on in life, I’d like to believe that we can all agree that, what happens in the spirit realm and what we see in the physical are hardly ever aligned. We also know that the spirit realm is more real than this virtual world we see with our physical eyes which then means that we have to become spiritual beings in order to make it in this physical realm. We might not always see clearly what is happening in the unseen, but we can certainly train ourselves to tune in to what The Holy Spirit is saying at all times or at least where life-changing decisions have to be made. For us to also be successful in this feat, we have to slow down dramatically. As fast-paced as the world is and as quickly as things change around us, we cannot fall for the trap of moving without the leading and guidance of the Holy Spirit simply because we are under pressure to keep up. There is a time and a season for everything under the sun and with that said, it’s possible to have the right thing at the wrong time and vice versa. Which is heartbreaking in itself.
One thing time also does that can be a big trap to the naked eye is appearing longer than normal. In which case we feel forced to make changes that GOD did not approve. We leave what The LORD instructed us to do because it’s not yielding fruits instantly and we run for what the enemy places in front of us and fulfills our immediate needs but destroys us in the long run. Yes, It’s not easy to wait on GOD because we do exist in this timeline and in this realm and things can get real real quick. But His grace is more than sufficient for us. He promises to give us strength and to lift us up if we can learn to wait on Him.
One of the most beautiful aspects about GOD is that He does not make a promise without giving us all the things needed to get us to the promise. ”In this way, He has given us the very great and precious gifts He promised, so that by means of these gifts you may escape from the destructive lust that is in the world, and may come to share the divine nature.“ 2 Peter 1:4 GNT. We can easily forget that the spiritual gifts we have been given are also there to transform us into the complete image of Christ. GOD will never ask us for something He has not already given us. ”If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.“ Galatians 5:25 NKJV. We must be continually filled with the Holy Spirit in order to make spiritual decisions and to hear the voice of the Shepherd when He speaks.
We can see how much the enemy is raining darkness in the world and is fooling even the believers. But if we can take a moment to slow down and not rush to make choices and decisions, perhaps life will become easier in, we will know that as long as GOD is the One who said it, then we are on the right track. His promises will always come to pass because He is not man that He should lie, but we too have our part to play, and only by staying in the Spirit can we play it well.
We must be continually filled with the Holy Spirit in order to make spiritual decisions and to hear the voice of the Shepherd when He speaks
