We often look at people who come from prominent families with envy and awe because they have names and surnames that open doors for them wherever they go. For example, If you are a Mandela or a Rothschild or a Gates etc… You know that, that name alone will get you a seat at the right table and is the key that allows you to address those in high places. What is sad is that we believers are the ones in awe of those in the world, and yet we have, by virtue of being Christ’s followers, we have been adopted into a heavenly family and have been given a Name that unlocks every door that was, is and will ever be created. We have been given a Name that breaks things in both the spiritual and in the physical realm, and yet we are continually defeated by challenges.
The issue here is the ignorance we have regarding the value of what we have been given. We are like people who have been given a bank card with unlimited funds but still walk around borrowing money from everyone. The power of what we have in our hands has been reduced to simple words that we say without meaning or revelation and thus not yielding any noticeable results. The fact that we don’t understand the power in the Name does not change the fact that it is the most powerful weapon ever given and because of the Name, nothing shall ever be impossible for those who believe and have faith in it. ”let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom GOD raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole.“ Acts 4:10 NKJV.
Revelation of what is contained in the Name is what we need. EVERYTHING we need is beautifully packaged in this Name that GOD gave to His Son Jesus Christ and is the same Name by which we have been saved. The blessings and the healing and the joy we are so desperately looking for are in the Name. So while we are busy looking for earthly names to open earthly doors, those in the know are looking at us with absolute pity. We have reduced ourselves to the level of beggars whereas our Father is Ruler and Creator of ALL things. As believers, we should never be satisfied with lack of knowledge and understanding. Ignorance is not bliss. If anything, it has made us puppets and clowns to the kingdom of darkness. Satan is not afraid of the weapons we have at our disposal. He fears the ones who have revelation of what those weapons can do to his kingdom and are not afraid to use them mightily.
