”He is dressed in a robe dyed by dipping in blood, and the title by which He is called is The Word of GOD.“ – Revelation 19:13 AMPC
”In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with GOD, and the Word was GOD“ – John 1:1 NKJV
”For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.“ – I John 5:7 NKJV
In the book of Revelation (chapter 19, verses 11-16), the New King James Version of the Bible has a subtitle for this portion of Scripture, the subtitle is, “Christ on a White Horse”. So verse 13 above is talking about Jesus (A) and it tells us that He is the Word of GOD (B). In John 1 verse 1, we are told that the Word is GOD (C). This tells us that Jesus is GOD (if A = B and B = C then A = C). This is important because, in our pursuit of GOD, we only need to look at Jesus, who is the express image of GOD, or GOD in the flesh (Hebrew 1:3). We have been given everything that we need to have a fruitful relationship with GOD.
”That all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.“ John 5:23 NKJV. In the world that we live in, most people don’t have an issue with “GOD”, but many reject Jesus, and when we reject Jesus, we reject GOD (the Father of our LORD, Jesus Christ). This goes for the Word of GOD in the form of our Bibles, that when we reject the Word of GOD as the final authority or GOD’s Word, we reject Jesus, in turn rejecting GOD the Father. We should be reading, studying, and meditating on the Word daily so that we may know Him and daily become like Him or as the Bible says, “to be transformed into His image”.
”[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope]“ Philippians 3:10 AMPC. When we accept that Jesus is GOD, we will also know who lives on the inside of us and that the trials that we face are there to reveal Him to us and the world around us. When we are squeezed and under pressure, what is it that comes out of us? We should pay attention to know whether we are full of the Word or are we still full of the opposite of what GOD wants to work into us. “Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks” (Luke 6:45).
We have been given everything that we need to have a fruitful relationship with GOD
