“Yet wisdom is vindicated and shown to be right by all her children [by the lifestyle, moral character, and good deeds of her followers].” –
‭‭Luke‬ ‭7‬:‭35‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“Train up a child in the way he should go [teaching him to seek GOD’s wisdom and will for his abilities and talents], Even when he is old he will not depart from it. [Eph 6:4; 2 Tim 3:15]” –
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭22‬:‭6‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“And how from your childhood you have had a knowledge of and been acquainted with the sacred Writings, which are able to instruct you and give you the understanding for salvation which comes through faith in Christ Jesus [through the leaning of the entire human personality on GOD in Christ Jesus in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness].” –
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭3‬:‭15‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Solomon, the son of David, was tasked with leading Israel as king, after David’s passing. But Solomon knew he needed wisdom to rule effectively. So he turned to his father’s teachings and GOD’s guidance. David had taught Solomon the importance of following GOD’s commands and trusting in His wisdom (1 Kings 2:3-4). Solomon took these lessons to heart and asked GOD for wisdom to lead His people (1 Kings 3:7-12).

In Proverbs 4:1-9, Solomon passes on the wisdom he received from his father to his own sons. He urges them to listen to his teaching, seek wisdom, and hold fast to instruction. He reminds them that wisdom is a gift from GOD and will lead them to righteous living. However, Solomon’s story also serves as a warning. As he grew older, he strayed from his father’s teachings and GOD’s wisdom. He allowed his foreign wives to lead him astray, and he worshiped other gods (1 Kings 11:1-13). This led to division and strife in Israel, and Solomon’s legacy was tarnished.

Despite his wisdom, Solomon’s failure to remain faithful to GOD’s teachings had consequences. His story reminds us that, wisdom is not just a one-time gift but a continuous pursuit. May we learn from Solomon’s successes and failures, remaining faithful to GOD’s wisdom and teachings, and living righteously as a result.

Jesus, in Luke 7 verse 35, teaches us that the true wisdom of GOD is not just theoretical or intellectual but is shown to be effective and practical in the lives of those who follow it. Their actions, decisions, and outcomes serve as testimony to the value and correctness of GOD’s wisdom. In essence, Jesus is emphasizing that GOD’s wisdom is not just a philosophical concept but a lived reality that produces tangible results and transforms lives.

The true wisdom of GOD is not just theoretical or intellectual but is shown to be effective and practical in the lives of those who follow it
