The Word Is Christ Himself

The Word Is Christ Himself

“In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with GOD, and the Word was GOD Himself. [Gen 1:1; Is 9:6] He was [continually existing] in the beginning [co-eternally] with GOD. All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him not even one thing was made that has come into being.” –
‭‭John‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Very often when speaking to Black Africans about Jesus, they will tell you about how they can’t relate to or believe in a white European Jesus who came to enslave and oppress Blacks. The saddest part about this statement is that, not only is it unfounded at its core, but it shows how people can change the Word and use it whichever way they can support their agenda.

Yes, the Bible has in the past and continues to this day to be used for wrong agendas and to influence what we all know at the core, is evil behaviour. But when we speak about the TRUE Word of GOD, we speak of Jesus Christ Himself. “For the word of GOD is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭12‬ ‭AMP‬‬

When people teach wrong things, they are not only defaming the character of GOD, but they forget that they themselves will be judged a lot harsher than those they deceived. They might be profiting in their deception on this side of life, but eternity will not be so kind to them, and that is worth noting. The wrong doctrine is poison in the church and those who continue to drink from it in ignorance, will ultimately become powerless victims of the devil because they do not have the victorious Christ living in them.

“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
It is GOD who appoints and anoints His ministers according to His plan and purpose. So then, if one knows that they did not choose themselves, then they have no reason to teach their own doctrines. We are called to speak only that which The One who called us speaks. And to teach only that which is written in His Word, without adding or subtracting anything. The true Word of GOD brings freedom, blessings, peace, prosperity and every good gift, because it is Jesus Christ Himself. No need for a production of bells and whistles to convince people of His power. He already knows what we all need, and the answer to everything is in His Word. Because HE IS the Word.

We are called to speak only that which The One who called us speaks. And to teach only that which is written in His Word, without adding or subtracting anything.
