Seeing Beyond The Horizon

“Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by GOD’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart].” – ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬ ‭AMP‬‬

We conceive things in the spirit through our thoughts, and as a result, we are a product of our thoughts. That is why Apostle Paul put it plainly, that we bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ [2 Corinthians 10:5]. Our thoughts don’t only become things but they also become action. There’s a famous quote that says, “If your dreams do not scare you, they are not big enough”. What dreams or set achievements do you have in place in so far as your lifestyle, household, bank balance, business, legacy, etc – is concerned? Whenever you think of those dreams or set achievements, do they challenge you to see beyond the horizon (your current situation)?

As of 2024, the world’s population is 8.2 billion, meaning, all 8.2 billion of us have different fingerprints and we each carry unique greatness within us. The only way to tap into this unique greatness is when we open up ourselves to the potential and capacity of creativity. GOD is a Creator, He is the avatar of both creation and creativity. We are created to create, and every time we create something, we expose ourselves to His divine power, the power of creation that which He does not want us to just tap in and out of, He wants us to dwell in it, live in it daily. We are already untouchable but His desire is for us to be unstoppable.

Planning we may plan, but it is GOD who chooses the steps we take to get there. We have thirty-three (33) days left to 2025, what plans or actions have we taken for GOD to direct and establish us for the coming year? For it is written, “A man’s mind plans his way [as he journeys through life], But the LORD directs his steps and establishes them.”‭‭ – Proverbs‬ ‭16‬:‭9‬ ‭AMP‬‬. The Word of GOD is there, we can either read it and act on it or we can read it and not act on it, the choice is ours to make, we are not forced. But the principle remains, the Word must be acted upon to give birth to what it promises.
