Answered Prayer Glorifies GOD

”Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising GOD.“ – Acts‬ ‭3‬:‭6‬-‭8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

”And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.“ – ‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Word of GOD tells us that, for the joy set before Him [Jesus], endured the cross (Hebrews 12:2). One of the things that most of us struggle with, is believing that GOD’s will for our lives is far greater than any plans of our own that we might have. We see the difficulties and struggles and we conclude that GOD wants us to suffer through life. The truth is, even though there is pain and suffering, joy is on the other side of us enduring. This joy is not only limited to this side of eternity but also on the other side, meaning it is eternal joy.

GOD answers prayers that are according to His will, and answered prayers bring glory to GOD. When we pray the will of GOD in the name of Jesus, results are guaranteed. It is through the Word of GOD and fellowship with the Holy Spirit that we get to know GOD’s will and when we know His will, we will know what to pray for. Many of us don’t see answers to our prayers because we ask amiss, we pray our own will instead of GOD’s will. ”Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.“ James‬ ‭4‬:‭3‬ ‭KJV‬‬.

”We laughed and laughed and overflowed with gladness. We were left shouting for joy and singing your praise. All the nations saw it and joined in, saying, “The LORD has done great miracles for them!” Yes, he did mighty miracles and we are overjoyed!“ Psalms‬ ‭126‬:‭2‬-‭3‬ ‭TPT‬‬. We should not dread the will of GOD, though we might have to go through some things, joy is on the other side. We have already been given everything that pertains to life and godliness (II Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬), in the Name of Jesus.
