GOD Uses A Man

GOD Uses A Man

“And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” – Esther‬ ‭4‬:‭14b‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“And the angel of the LORD appeared to him and said to him, “The LORD is with you, O mighty man of valor.” And the LORD turned to him and said, “Go in this might of yours and save Israel from the hand of Midian; do not I send you?” – ‭‭Judges‬ ‭6‬:‭12‬, ‭14‬ ‭ESV‬‬

One of the constant themes that we see in the Bible is that, when GOD wants to do something, for a people, He raises a man or a woman. It is the same with every move of GOD or a revival for a generation of believers. These people are ordinary people with weaknesses and frailties, just like the rest of us, but the grace of GOD locates them for an assignment. “For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. But GOD chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; GOD chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; GOD chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast in the presence of GOD” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭26‬-‭29‬ ‭ESV‬‬.

We live in a culture where it’s become fashionable to disrespect the servants of GOD. It’s more common among charismatics because we also have knowledge, we also see visions and can prophesy and the devil pumps us with pride. We’ve all heard it being said, that even the devil knows the Word, so He doesn’t have an issue with us having all this knowledge, if we are not applying it with the wisdom of GOD. “And they said, “Has the LORD indeed spoken only through Moses? Has he not spoken through us also?” And the LORD heard it.” Numbers‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ ‭ESV‬‬.

When GOD called us, He called each and every one of us for His purpose, we miss it when we disregard the servant that GOD wants to equip us through. “And if you have not been faithful in that which is another’s, who will give you that which is your own?” Luke‬ ‭16‬:‭12‬ ‭ESV‬‬. It’s not a popular thing to say in this day and age because we all have a relationship with the Holy Spirit and we are able to be led by Him. But, if we have to be honest with ourselves, the fruit tell a story. GOD uses a man to train and equip us for the service of GOD and when we despise that man, we will despise GOD’s training.

When GOD called us, He called each and every one of us for His purpose, we miss it when we disregard the servant that GOD wants to equip us through
