If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself. 2 Timothy 2:13
God does not change the goal post around. He meant to love us and He has loved us since. He loves the person lost and wallowing in their sin right now, He has a plan for such a one and that doesn’t change. The blessings that were available to us before we sinned and fell short are still available to us today. The warm reception we received when we were born again is still our portion today. Nothing can separate us from the love of God, for I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord, Romans 8:29-30.
And nothing can make God unfaithful. He is not a man that He should lie nor the son of man that he should repent. He is the same yesterday today and forever. So how about us who are being conformed to the image of His Son? Are we being like Him in this regard? Because we should be, we should be changing now that we are born again, from our old ways into the new man. Especially towards each other, 1 Peter 1:22 Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart. Jesus said to His disciples, ‘A new commandment I give unto you that you love one another, as I have loved you love one another’. Jesus’ love towards us is unfailing, is our love towards each other unfailing? His love is forgiving, what about us. His commitment to our salvation knows no bounds, come what may are we committed to being there for each other till we are saved?
