The Word became flesh and dwelt among us – John 1:14.
And we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. The Word became flesh and blood, it became human in Jesus. The Word Jesus became the Man Jesus or the Human Jesus. The word of God took on the human form and became a man, became human as one of us. The grave couldn’t contain Him because He came not from the earth but the Word from above. He went to hell, and hell couldn’t keep Him because He wasn’t man made from dirt, but Man who came from the Word. In any day, if you met Jesus, you would have met with the living, breathing, blinking, walking, talking word of God. The word of God is living and full of power, He’s sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing and dividing asunder and nothing is hidden from Him, because even the night is as day before Him. The words I speak to you are spirit and life, because He is Spirit and life.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. He is the word of our faith. He is the Word that became flesh, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father – full of grace and truth. He outstripped the devil, disarmed principalities and powers and made a public spectacle, a laughing stock, of them. This is the victory that has overcome – our faith. Faith comes by the hearing of the word of God. The word of God has triumphed over the enemy of our soul. We partake of the same victory when we believe. We believe in the word of God that became flesh and dwelt and walked among us, and overcame for us. Whoever is born of God – that is, born of the word of God that became flesh and dwelt with us, is victorious and overcomes in any and every area and issue of life. We’re born again from the miracle-performing, life-giving word of God called Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the first among many brothers – meaning us. Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God.
