Servants Of The Keeper

Servants Of The Keeper

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy – Jude 1:24.

To the righteous the Lord is faithful, they shall never be forsaken. When we devote our lives laying them down before Him, to be ruled by His Spirit, we never have to do our own bidding again. It’s like a wife married to a faithful husband, she never has to worry about provision, sustenance or her rights, because none shall be violated. A faithful husband knows his duty and does not fail to perform it. Our lives are no longer our own and the Lord will not fail us, His promise is to keep us till the end and to present us a spotless bride, what a promise!

So why fight to be heard, worrying when man rise up against me? Why should I defend myself when I have One who watches over me, hears my every cry and is the very One who says the battle is His? He is my defender, He is my shield, He rejoices over me with singing. When we have this knowledge embeded in our hearts we cannot always have our gaurd up defending ourselves against fellow believers and fighting each other as if we don’t have the same Father. ‘Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.’ Romans 14:4. If that fellow believer is a servant of God, you should leave him to his own Master to deal with him. We cast an eye of disdain upon the bretheren who wrong us, meditating on their destruction, thus forgetting mercy, forgetting pardon, forgetting that the One to whom they answer intends to keep them till the day of the Lord.

“So that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 1:8. “For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.” 2 Timothy 1:12. If your God is the Lord, if you have given up your rights to be obedient to your call in Christ, if truly you serve the God of heaven no holds barred, If truly your life is not your own, then, be still and know that your God is the Lord. He will not bring you to shame, He will keep you till the end.
