Don’t give in to worry or anger; it only leads to trouble – Psalms 37:8 GNB.
When God says do not worry He means it. Do not stress yourself about things you have no power to change. Allow God to do it for you. Worry eats away at our lives. It tends to block us from seeing what is ahead of us. It therefore causes a lot of sicknesses in our bodies. It also leads us into making decisions that bring us to our downfall.
If we would learn to wait when God says wait, we would not find ourselves in bad situations. God knows best. He knows everything, even before it happens. David says: “You’ve gone into my future to prepare the way, and in kindness you follow behind me, to spare me from the harm of my past. With your hand of love upon my life, you impart a blessing to me,” Psalms 139:5 TPT. If God has been into my future and prepared a way for me, why then is it so difficult for me to trust in Him? The word further says: “For there is nothing that God cannot do,” Luke 1:37 GNB.
Why then do we want to do things that are beyond our power and ability? This is an indication of how much we do not trust God. When we worry about an issue of life it is a sign that we believe that there is a huge possibility of failure rather than success. This shows our lack of faith in God. The word of God clearly states that it is impossible to please God without faith [Hebrews 11:6]. You will agree with me then that based on this that if you do worry, your faith in God is in question.
