And the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with walls of water on both sides – Exodus 14:22 GNB.
This Scripture is taken from the story of the Israelites where GOD parted the Red Sea for them to cross over on dry ground; this for me is one of the greatest miracles documented in the word of GOD. It’s these miracles that have sparked debates across the world and even in Christian circles about how true it is and also if GOD still performs miracles? I personally believe GOD does, however I believe a lot of Christians forfeit their miracles because they outright refuse to be led by GOD through His Holy Spirit into a place of GOD’s miracles.
The Word tells us that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and we know that Jesus and the Father are one, so the same GOD who performed this miracle is the same GOD that we profess today. When I read the account of the exodus from Egypt, one thing that really stood out for me was just how GOD led them all the way, He even led them to the place where they were stuck between the Red Sea and the Egyptian army. GOD is always in control and when we find ourselves in a place where we don’t see a way out, if GOD is the one who led us there, we are the right candidates for GOD’s miracle.
GOD still works miracles, even when it seems like all hope is lost and there’s nowhere to go, He is still able to give you a miracle. He has never changed, rather than fear, position yourself for GOD’s miracle.
