God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? – Numbers 23:19.
GOD’s promises more often than not come with a process, which occurs between the promise and the fulfillment. This is the time where most of us don’t know what to do or how to behave. This is a time where we might be expected to wait, or a time of testing where we have nothing to hold on to but GOD’s word while everything is saying the opposite. GOD’s word will never return to Him without achieving what He sent it out to achieve (Isaiah 55:11), so if GOD has said it, He will do it!
Psalms 27:14 in the TPT translation says, “Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the LORD. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting—for He will never disappoint you!” GOD knows what He’s doing, trust GOD’s process. Don’t allow fear and doubt to creep in because they come to cripple your faith. Fear and faith cannot operate at the same time; so guard your heart against fear and doubt because the heart is the wellspring of life (Proverbs 4:23).
“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living,” Psalms 27:13. GOD cannot lie, if He promised it, He will do it. Trust GOD’s process, He knows best. But one thing is for sure, He will do what He has promised. He is not a man that He should lie, nor the son of man that He should repent! He is GOD. And GOD is faithful. Even when we are unfaithful, He remains faithful because He cannot deny who He is (2 Timothy 2:13).
