To Seek Or Not To Seek

To Seek Or Not To Seek

Hebrews 11:6 NKJV: In the New Covenant context ‘coming to GOD’ and ‘seeking GOD’ are synonymous. We actually do not seek for GOD. The LORD said, “For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” It is GOD who seeks us.

Hebrews 4:15-16 NKJV: We do not seek for the throne of grace, we come – and come boldly. It doesn’t matter the state we are in, we ought to come boldly. The way to the Father has been made open for us. GOD is not lost, and we have been found. The divine will for us is to come, not to seek as in the Old Covenant. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. He is the way to the Father. He is in me and I am in Him. So the way to the Father is in me. I am in contact with the divine 24/7! I don’t seek, I dwell.

Titus 2:11 NKJV/TLB: That which we seek has already appeared, or been  revealed. The grace of GOD that brings salvation to all men has been freely given to us – no need to seek or search anymore. All we have to do is grab it with both hands. GOD is not hidden from His children. Contrariwise, He is longing for fellowship, communion, relationship with us. Through the Lord Jesus we have access by one Spirit to the Father (Ephesians 2:18).

1 John 3:1-2 KJV: We are sons of the living GOD, we are not lost. We do not seek GOD. We are already His sons, having been made one with Him. If we are the sons of GOD, our seeking has come to an end, having found what we were looking for. We have found Him whom we sought, if indeed we sought for Him. Beloved, now are we the sons of GOD.

John 14:10-11 NKJV: Jesus’ communion with the Father is based in the fact that He is in the Father and the Father in Him. If Jesus was not in the Father and the Father not in Him, He would not be the Son of GOD.  We are sons of GOD because we are in Him and He is in us. Without this, we have neither relationship nor communion with GOD. “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me” this is the basis for our fellowship. This is what defines our sonship with Him. Nobody and nothing can separate us. So now, draw near to GOD and He will draw near to you; just come!

We are sons of GOD because we are in Him and He is in us, without this we have neither relationship nor communion with Him
