Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me – John 15:4 NKJV.
GOD is all powerful and that is one of His many traits, He is also constant, He never changes, He’s the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). We should not ever have to doubt if GOD will do what He said He would do because He’s not a man that He should lie, nor the son of man that He should change His mind (Numbers 23:19). Any thoughts that come to us that make us doubt GOD are from the enemy and need to be cast down (2 Corinthians 10:5).
“Why would you ever complain, O Jacob, or, whine, Israel, saying, “GOD has lost track of me. He doesn’t care what happens to me”? Don’t you know anything? Haven’t you been listening? GOD doesn’t come and go. God lasts. He’s Creator of all you can see or imagine. He doesn’t get tired out, doesn’t pause to catch his breath. And he knows everything, inside and out. He energizes those who get tired, gives fresh strength to dropouts. For even young people tire and drop out, young folk in their prime stumble and fall. But those who wait upon GOD get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, They run and don’t get tired, they walk and don’t lag behind.”
Wait on GOD, He will empower you and give you fresh strength that will cause you to soar, to run, consistently, and not get tired. You will not lag behind your peers. GOD has not changed His mind about you, He will fulfill what He has promised. Yours is just to consistently seek a relationship with Him and to abide in Him and He will show you great and mighty things that you do not know (Jeremiah 33:3). When you abide in Him, He abides in you and no branch that is not consistently connected to the vine bears much, if any, fruit.
We should not ever have to doubt if GOD will do what He said He would do
