Jesus Is The Cure!

Jesus Is The Cure!

So above all, guard the affections of your heart, for they affect all that you are. Pay attention to the welfare of your innermost being, for from there flows the wellspring of life – Proverbs 4:23 TPT.

It is through the new heart that GOD gives us that we are able to live successful Christian lives, lives that are pleasing to GOD. This new heart is the heart that GOD has entrusted us with; we are to guard it with all diligence. After the fall of Adam GOD saw that there’s nothing good that can come from the human heart, no matter how hard we try and sadly we end up trying to cover up with what we consider to be good deeds but GOD sees even what we are trying to cover up (Jeremiah 17:9-10).

“Evil originates from inside a person. Coming out of a human heart are evil schemes, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, wickedness, treachery, debauchery, jealousy, slander, arrogance, and recklessness. All these corrupt things emerge from within and constantly pollute a person,” Mark 7:21-23. GOD has given us the gift of repentance, repentance is a change of heart, it is when we realize and admit to ourselves and GOD in humility that there’s nothing good in us and we have nothing good to offer GOD that GOD gives us this new heart, and this new heart comes with a changed life.

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh, then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God,” Ezekiel 36:26, 28. We can only live in the will of GOD and be GOD’s people once we have received the new heart and have His Spirit within us. The solution to all the evil and chaos that is happening in the world and even in the church, sadly, is Jesus, for us to receive the free gift of salvation and to turn from our wicked ways. He is willing, and if you are too, today is the day of salvation.

It is through the new heart that GOD gives us that we are able to live successful Christian lives; lives that are pleasing to Him
