Total Dependence Is True Freedom

Total Dependence Is True Freedom

“For if you embrace the truth, it will release true freedom into your lives.” – John 8:32 TPT

Christianity is an invitation to a life of freedom full of everything good that heaven has to offer while we are sojourning here on earth. The invitation however does not make sense to the human mind and senses, as human beings we long to do what we want, how we want and when we want, this to the carnal mind is freedom. This is the freedom that the world teaches. GOD’s freedom is in His Truth, in the knowledge of His Truth, in the application of His Truth, this truth is in the person of Jesus Christ revealed by His Holy Spirit (John 16:13).

We are called to abide in Him because without Him we can do nothing (John 15:5). The biggest problem that I believe we have as human beings is the inability to believe that GOD’s plans are far greater than our own for our lives. GOD tells us that He knows the plans He has for us, plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). When we are born again, we are delivered from the devil’s plan of destruction for our lives into the the prosperous and fruitful life of abundance in GOD (Colossians 1:13).

When we embrace the Spirit of Truth and the truth He reveals, the Holy Spirit releases true freedom into our lives and it is in this freedom that we receive and walk in the promises of GOD. It is then that we begin to walk in victory because of the finished work of the cross and the gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit. It is when we fully depend on Him that we are truly free because He leads us in one perpetual victory parade (2 Corinthians 2:14). Receive today the invitation to a life of freedom and victory, invite the Holy Spirit into your life to help you to be fully dependent on Him because total dependence leads to true freedom.

When we embrace the Spirit of Truth and the truth He reveals, the Holy Spirit releases true freedom into our lives and it is in this freedom that we receive and walk in the promises of GOD.
