My Faith Will Not Fail

My Faith Will Not Fail

“Peter, my dear friend, listen to what I’m about to tell you. Satan has obtained permission to come and sift you all like wheat and test your faith. But I have prayed for you, Peter, that you would stay faithful to me no matter what comes. Remember this: after you have turned back to me and have been restored, make it your life mission to strengthen the faith of your brothers.” – Luke 22:31-32 TPT

Christianity is a life to be lived, not a religion where we try to be justified by our works, but a life of faith. This faith is an active faith, a God-kind of faith, a faith that acts, a faith that speaks. We have been given power in our mouths to speak life and change situations (Proverbs 18:21). The same way GOD spoke light from the darkness (Genesis 1:3), we are to put our faith in action and speak life to our situations that we are destined to pass through while here on earth. Jesus tells us that whatever is born of GOD overcomes the world and this victory is our faith (1 John 5:4).

The most valuable thing we will ever possess here on earth is our faith (1 Peter 1:7). Our adversary comes after our faith, everything that he throws at us is because he’s after our faith. Now imagine having the knowledge on how to use this faith, to be able to speak and move mountains. When we get this right as children of God nothing will shake us. We will also guard our faith with everything we have and endure whatever the enemy may throw at us instead of abandoning our faith and crying foul because we know that we already have the victory.

“Neither for these alone do I pray [it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for all those who will ever come to believe in (trust in, cling to, rely on) Me through their word and teaching,”(John 17:20). When Jesus prayed for the disciples, He also prayed for us. When our faith is tested, it is to reveal the value of our faith to us, that we may be vessels that GOD uses to strengthen the faith of other believers. Your faith has been prayed for, it will not fail! Yours is to put this truth into practice and confess that your faith will not fail and this is where your victory is as a child of God, the word of God in your heart and in your mouth. “My faith will not fail!”

The same way GOD spoke light from the darkness, we are to put our faith in action and speak life to our situations that we are destined to pass through while here on earth
