The Wise Are Unmistakable

“Do you want to be counted wise, to build a reputation for wisdom? Here’s what you do: Live well, live wisely, live humbly. It’s the way you live, not the way you talk, that counts.” – James 3:13-16 MSG

Rightfully, our Christianity should be clear to see among man because we live in a time when the world is darkening, and hearts growing cold and more wicked. This is the period where we should walk as the wise and not as the foolish because the requirement is not only to remain Holy but to win many souls to Christ. So, by the wise design of righteous living, we are supposed to be to those who are perishing an oasis in a dry and thirsty land, a sanctuary for the displaced, and a glimmer of hope in these desperate times. We are the children of the Most High GOD, we should be as difficult to ignore as Prince Harry, but most importantly our lives should be desirable, people should want what we have because abiding in the presence of God refines, purifies, and makes wise the simple.

You can’t have both understanding and frustration, knowledge and confusion, wisdom and a fragmented life, these traits are mutually exclusive for those who have the Spirit of God dwelling within. “The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel: To know wisdom and instruction, To perceive the words of understanding, To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, judgment, and equity; To give prudence to the simple, To the young man knowledge and discretion— A wise man will hear and increase learning, And a man of understanding will attain wise counsel, To understand a proverb and an enigma, The words of the wise and their riddles. The fear of the Lord  is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Proverbs 1:1-7. The wise shine bright like the stars in the sky, they are attractive, a tree for many to find shade to cool themselves, you cannot meet a wise person and not know it, they are unmistakable. As a child of God are you walking in wisdom? can you be named among the wise and humble?

You can’t have both understanding and frustration, knowledge and confusion, wisdom and a fragmented life, these traits are mutually exclusive for those who have the Spirit of God dwelling within
