He Became Poor So You Can Be Rich

He Became Poor So You Can Be Rich

“You know the grace shown by our Lord Jesus Christ. Even though He was rich, He became poor to help you. Because He became poor, you can become rich.” – 2 Corinthians 8:9 NIV

GOD’s intention is for everyone who is called by His name to thrive economically. He really desires for us to be well provided for in our daily lives and enjoy the abundance of His generosity. Most of us, however as Christians are living lives that are a complete error, many of us do not really experience God’s abundant provision, as desired by Him. In these difficult times that everyone in the whole entire world is facing, the economic crisis, it is very saddening to hear Christians crying about the suffering of our economy just like any other person. You would expect us to know better. The Bible says; “For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord bestows [present] grace and favor and [future] glory (honor, splendor, and heavenly bliss)! No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” Psalm 84:11 Amp. He does not hold back any blessings for those who are His, regardless of their economic status, environmental factors, or any other thing that seems like a predicament to those who don’t know Him.

It is without a doubt that whatever situation we often find ourselves in as the children of God economically, questions and concerns about GOD’s intent and role in provision and wealth weigh heavily on almost every Christian’s mind. This however shouldn’t be the case. GOD, Himself says that His Word has ample resources to provide us with all we need. Do you want to obtain blessings, wealth, riches? All you need for that is the word of God. Let us stop with the mediocrity of making a life without blessings from GOD a norm. If He became poor so that we may be rich, being poor is an offense to Him and all that He stands for. So rise up and claim your riches, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and materially. That’s what He wants for you and me.

If He became poor so that we may be rich, being poor is an offense to Him and all that He stands for
