” ‘So leave the corruption and compromise; leave it for good,’ says GOD.” – 2 Corinthians 6:17a MSG

It would seem that the pressure to fall from the faith and in spirit is mounting high. We are living in a very critical time spiritually, the return of the LORD is nigh and there’s a great watering down of Christianity. It’s a plot to cause as many as are slumbering to fall. Because we don’t know the day of the Lord’s return, we cannot afford to be spiritually complacent. The Christian dynamic seems to oscillate at this time of the end. One Christian says there’s nothing wrong with this (which is usually never backed up with the Word) and another says “I don’t think GOD would hold that against us”. The Word tells us to play far from the world, & usually, this means missing out on a lot of this world’s “pleasures”.

We must remember that one of our greatest responsibilities while in this body of flesh is to steer the flesh towards holiness. The flesh won’t pursue after righteousness but we (our spirit selves) must. Colossians 3:1-10, we must set our minds on the things that please GOD. The Word says to conduct ourselves properly and honorably (Romans 13:13), we must walk about consciously Christian and unashamed. We must bear the cross of Christ and please Him in all we see, all we think, all we say, and all we do. Let us set our minds on the things that are above where Christ is. Take aim at the things of the Kingdom and shoot your shot, take a hard pass at some of the stuff on presentation in this world, they are not worth your soul. When you pine for the world you make yourself an enemy of God (James 4:4). When you befriend the world you unfriend GOD, and when you unfriend the world you befriend GOD. Choose your friends wisely, choose your eternal resting place with care, that ball is in your court you know!

We must walk about consciously Christian and unashamed. We must bear the cross of Christ
