Revival Is Elevation, BUT For A Purpose

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” – Acts 10:38 NKJV

When I reflect on the glorious week of revival we have just concluded, I realise that GOD has not concluded at all, but this is only the beginning of a greater dimension of glory for the church of Jesus Christ. What better way to signify this, than with an outflow of God’s power and anointing to the entire church, right on the last day of God’s chosen programme? Today I sit asking myself, “If the LORD has empowered us with His Word, presence, glory, anointing and power, what are His expectations of us?”

I am reminded of a story in the Bible where there too was a great outflow propelled by the Word of God. Prophet Elisha spoke a Word to the widow, and so great was the outflow of oil, that it only took the unavailability of empty vessels for the oil to stop flowing (2 Kings 4:1-7). This vast amount of oil became provision for the widow and her children right when they needed it the most. We too stand today as vessels, freshly filled to the brim with the anointing of GOD, ready to be used for those in need of Christ in this world. We are vessels fit for purpose, filled for the LORD to pour out of us as He wills.

Pastor Nhlanhla said by the Spirit of the LORD, “When we work, moving in miracles and power, we are demonstrating the love of GOD, which glorifies the Father.” We are empowered that we may work, manifesting the glory within us, thereby bearing fruit. We came, we were ministered to, we were filled with power, & we were revived! Now let us brace ourselves to do works of love and bring our sheaves with us. Let’s work friends!

We are empowered that we may work, manifesting the glory within us, thereby bearing fruit.
