Are You Fully Persuaded/Convinced?

“And being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.” – Romans 4:21 NKJV

“For I am persuaded…” – Romans 8:38a NKJV

There are certain facts about our lives that cannot be disputed, for example, our names, weight, height, date of birth. No matter how much anyone can argue with you, you know, that you know, that you know that these are facts and that no one can convince you otherwise. With time, however, some of these facts can change, you could find out you have a second name on your birth certificate when you go and do your ID, weight generally changes over time, the other height is less likely to change once you reach a certain age. However, these are things no one needs to convince you of because they are facts.

Believing God’s Word on the other hand is a different story, GOD speaks into our lives things that we don’t see. It is then up to us if we will believe Him or not. Just like the parable of the Sower, there are different responses to God’s Word. Some believe for a short while before the enemy comes and convinces them otherwise, some believe until life’s trials come and then speak contrary, and others believe until others seem to be getting ahead in life and they quickly default to following the natural way of “making a living”. Then there are those that no matter what comes, GOD said! And because GOD has said, I will not be moved!  These are the ones that see the manifestation of God’s promises (Matthew 13:1-23).

“Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:8b NKJV. Are you fully persuaded/convinced that GOD will do exactly what He has promised? When your life circumstances are saying the exact opposite of what GOD has said, will you still believe? “But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to GOD must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6 NKJV. GOD is a rewarder, He rewards faith (it takes faith to seek Him). So are you fully persuaded/convinced? Do you know that you know that you know that GOD will do that which He has promised?

There are those that no matter what comes, GOD said! And because GOD has said, I will not be moved!
