Sing And Shout!

“So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.” – Hebrews 10:35-36 NIV

“GOD is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” – Numbers 23:19 NKJV

In my faith walk, I’ve learned that many times, GOD will speak things into my life that when I look in the natural, the circumstances are the exact opposite. Strangely enough, whenever I go to GOD in prayer and ask Him, “You’re saying one thing but my life is the exact opposite of what you’re saying, what is happening?”, He always says the exact same thing that He has said before. Not to say that He’s not aware of the situation but rather reassures me that He will do that which He has promised and that He hasn’t changed His mind.

“Sing and shout, even though you have never had children! The LORD has promised that you will have more children than someone married for a long time.” Isaiah 54:1 CEV. GOD knows about our seasons where nothing seems to be happening or moving, but the instruction and the promise haven’t changed, “Sing and shout!”, “you have never had children, you will have more children than someone married for a long time”. God’s promises stretch us and our faith, and at the right time, He will show up!  We will go through seasons of being mocked, ridiculed, and laughed at, we are in good company, Hannah was “provoked severely” by Peninnah (1 Samuel 1:6-7). The Bible tells us that the LORD remembered her (v19).

“So it came to pass in the process of time that Hannah conceived and bore a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, “Because I have asked for him from the LORD.” I Samuel 1:20 NKJV. What has GOD put in your heart that at times seems like it will never happen? In the process of time, you will give birth to the promise, be persistent in prayer, reminding GOD of what He has said. Not only did GOD give Hannah a son, but He gave her 5 more children after Samuel (1 Samuel 2:21). Keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking, and at the right time, GOD will answer you, according to His will!

Keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking, and at the right time, God will answer you, according to His will!
