“Lift up your eyes around you and see; They all gather together, they come to you. Your sons will come from far away, And your daughters will be looked after at their side. Then you will see and be radiant, and your heart will tremble [with joy] and rejoice because the abundant wealth of the seas will be brought to you, The wealth of the nations will come to you.” – Isaiah 60:4-5 AMP
It’s one thing to hear the word of God spoken over your life and believe it, and another to actually SEE what GOD is saying. To visualize it and even experience the emotions of having and living in the promises of that Word. Now, if you can hold on to that feeling and not let time and challenges deter you, you are guaranteed to see the promise manifest in the physical. This is what the Bible tells us that faith does. “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 ESV. We are assured of the things we are hoping for, what we are believing GOD for, despite the report of man or the discouraging facts of life.
Let’s be frank, the inability to see what you are hoping or praying for is simply a lack of faith. It means you don’t believe in anything that the Father has to say and have no interest in His Word. Such a life is unfathomable to me cause what then would such a person have to look forward to? The reason we wake up every day and make it through the day is because there is a part of us that has something to look forward to. Whether it’s a better day or a prosperous tomorrow, along with the possibility of seeing our dreams come to pass. Without hope, we have no reason to live and this is one of the reasons that the enemy attacks prophecies. To make us lose faith in GOD and His abilities and to make us even question His integrity. “GOD is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken and will He not make it good and fulfill it?” Numbers 23:19 AMP.
It takes real conviction to hold on to what you have not yet seen in the physical despite the attacks. However, if you can see things in the spirit as clear as light, then you know that you are closer to attaining them because everything first starts in the spirit. It is important to also make sure that we are constantly operating in the realm of the spirit, to rather see how GOD sees instead of believing what the supposed facts of the physical are communicating. We are doing a great injustice to ourselves when we deny the joy of living as though the promise has been fulfilled. Faith is not some complicated concept that should bring anxiety to the individual. It is simply the spiritual transportation that brings the word of God to pass. Our joy and visions are the fuel that determines the speed at which the transport moves. So yes, “Sing, O barren, You who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, You who have not labored with child! For more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married woman,” says the LORD.” Isaiah 54:1 NKJV.
