You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you – Isaiah 26:3.
We need to defy, resist and reject anything that seeks to steal our focus away from God and the word. We must be unfazed in our resolve to set our minds on things above where Christ is and what the Spirit desires. What God desires for us is righteousness, health, prosperity, peace, safety, long and joyful life in the Spirit.
However, the evil one comes to distract us in order to lure us into destruction and dissipation. He is very bad news for all believers. He is a thief of all the best God has intended for us. We must wittingly resist and refuse to be cheated from our inheritance. Let’s set our minds on what the Spirit desires and be led by Him into a great adventurous life.
