God Created Us For Himself

The people whom I formed for myself that they might declare my praise – Isaiah 43:21.

He gave us the word and the Holy Spirit to guide us through this journey. This means that everything else we do is subject to the word and the Holy Spirit in order for us to be successful in carrying out this purpose. If we bring anything that is not in the word it means we are bringing our own agenda. We are scheming against God, we are doing the will of the king of this world – the devil.Submitting our will to the will of God, means we are supporting the vision of God. The opposite is rebellion. It is impossible to follow two opposite visions. One cancels out the other. It is said in the word one cannot serve two masters, Matthew 6:24.It is never easy to submit to someone, especially when we live our own lives as we please, if we do not have the Holy Spirit in us. But now God has made all power available for us to submit, His Spirit is there for us to hear the voice our Father. We were created by Him for Him. “For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth,” Deuteronomy 7:6.We are so special to Him, that He even brought His only Son to come and rescue us.
