“Instead, be concerned above everything else with the Kingdom of GOD and with what He requires of you, and He will provide you with all these other things.“ – Matthew 6:33 GNT.
”Jesus came up and said to them, “All authority (all power of absolute rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually—regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.” – Matthew 28:18-20 AMP
There was a time in my life when I was deeply depressed and it felt like nothing was going right. From my career to my personal life, finances, and spiritual commitments. Every time I went to the LORD in prayer, the response was the same. “Concern yourself with My kingdom.” After a period of resistance, I finally enquired as to what that meant exactly. And again the response was simple. What you desire for yourself is exactly what you should be travailing about for your community and the nation at large.
When we give our lives to Christ, we become grafted into the army of the LORD. Whether we know it or not, the enemy declares war over us. The light of GOD that is on us makes us a moving target for darkness, but with that said, we know that, ”The light shines in the dark, and the dark cannot put out the light.“ John 1:5 EASY. So, therefore, we are called to shine our light in dark places. The love that the LORD has poured over us is exactly what we need to take into the world, through our testimonies and our ministering. Through the things we have survived in this world, our lives become a testimony and a ministry to those who are looking to us as believers.
We need to only look around in order to see how much the world needs us to arise into our callings. The gifts that the LORD has given us cannot be buried away while we seek acceptance in this dark world. We have been commended, now more than ever, to arise and stand out. To empty hell and populate heaven. The enemy is on a mission, and it looks like he has dispatched an innumerable amount of dark entities to run a mock over the earth, but power has been given to us. Jesus Christ our LORD and Saviour, has given us authority over all forces on this earth and therefore, we cannot fear rising up against the darkness and standing in the gap as those who are on a mission to transform nations.
It is the Spirit of the LORD in us doing everything, so we should not fear. This is also not the time to be concerned with being liked or fitting in. The time for that is done, and the clarion call has officially gone out. The mission is now clear, stand up and stand out as those who are called of the LORD. ”The night has nearly finished and the day is almost here. So we must stop doing the bad things that belong to the dark. Instead, we must take weapons like soldiers who are ready to fight in the light.” Romans 13:12 EASY.
