“He was absolutely sure that God would be able to do what he had promised.”- Romans 4:21 GNB
I believe when the word of God comes from a servant of God by the Holy Spirit that it is prophetic, but when the Lord emphasizes that the Word is prophetic, we need to pay extra attention. We are to take the word of God to heart because we stand in danger of missing out on what God is doing if we allow unbelief to creep in (2 Kings 7:1-2 NLT). “Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God. For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ.”(Hebrews 3:12, 14 NLT).
“A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.”(John 16:21). Pain and discomfort for a child of God are good because they suggest that something is about to be birthed. The LORD has given us His Word that it is time for breakthrough, ours is just to prepare ourselves and position ourselves to give birth to what the LORD has promised. When the breakthrough comes the pain will be a distant memory because the joy will far outweigh the pain.
Knowing that GOD is with us should give us enough comfort and strength to go through anything that life may throw at us. Not only is He with us but He gives us His promises, promises of deliverance, promises of breakthrough, and everything good that aligns with who He is. Ours is just to be absolutely sure, believe, and trust that not only is He a promise maker but He is a promise keeper. So, are you absolutely sure? If not, ask the Holy Spirit to help you in the area of unbelief lest you miss out on your share of what belongs to Christ.
Ours is just to be absolutely sure, believe, and trust that not only is He a promise maker but He is a promise keeper.
