The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise – Proverbs 11:30.
The knowledge of Christ is the difference between life and death. Before we believed and received Christ we were walking among the dead (Ephesians 2:1), but are now translated from darkness to light, from death to life. Many of the people we love are still languishing in the dark, they are still treading the path that leads to death, for some of them the difference between their current dreaded existence and a fresh start, a life of purpose and joyful existence is a word. They need to know that power has been availed that is able to pull them out of the mire and restore their souls. “How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace,who bring glad tidings of good things!” Romans 10:14-15.
We have a huge task laid upon us to make Jesus known to those still outside of the way. It doesn’t matter what it looks like, it doesn’t matter what people post, it doesn’t matter what they say, if they are without Christ they are perishing. The matter is urgent! There is nothing of eternal worth that can be accomplished outside of Christ. It doesn’t matter how nice your cousin is, the only way to the Father is through Christ, your cousin needs to receive Christ in order to inherit ethernal life. You and I are now in the light, and the Lord is saying to us, “tell them, tell them that I have taken their sins away and washed them. Tell them I have wiped their slate clean and forgiven them all. Tell them all they need to do is turn away from the path they are currently walking because it does not have a good end. Tell them they can start experiencing the true meaning of life and enjoy good days for the rest of their lives.” Tell them Jesus is the answer, tell them Jesus loves them, and tell them Jesus is calling them!
