As we enter into God’s faith-rest life we cease from our own works, just as God celebrates his finished works and rests in them – Hebrews 4:10 TPT.
We are called to enter into God’s rest. We have heard the word declared. We are in the season of God’s glory, a season where our efforts are rendered useless. God is doing everything for us but that is if we let Him and have faith in Him. As we read the next verse of our Scripture it is said that we must all be eager to enter that rest.
How wonderful it is to have things in life knowing that you did not have to lift a finger. This is what we are called into, the life of cruising not having to make plans. God has already made these plans for us [Jeremiah 29:11]. We do not have to worry about a thing.
God wants us to live a life of His fullness in Him [Ephesians 3:19 MSG]. We are called to a life of being a solution to those who are in darkness and despair. How are we going to show this light if we are always stressed and wanting to do things with our own efforts and strength?
This is the time for God’s presence in our lives to manifest so that we bring the evidence of God to the lives of those amongst us. This is the moment for us to rest, allowing God to show us His love and grace. All of this can be simply attained by having faith in God and in the finished works of Jesus Christ. It is finished, Amen.
