For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds – 2 Corinthians 10:4.
There is a weapon of self destruction satan uses against us, our words. It all starts with our meditations, you cannot think negetively and produce positive results. It’s made clear in scripture; ‘For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.’ (Proverbs 23:7), and; ‘For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.’ (Matthew 12:34c). We all know also; ‘Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.’ (Proverbs 18:21).
Especially when you have made a stupid mistake or blundered in one way or the other do not be tempted to utter satan’s words, we are all too familiar with them; ‘i’m stupid’, ‘I’m never getting this right’, ‘I’m a failure’, ‘I give up’. These are just some of the weapons in satan’s arsenal. He is cunningly unrelenting, he uses you against yourself. But be sober, be vigilant, don’t be tempted no matter how you feel about a situation. Rise above it as a child of God. Holy Spirit in us is never under the situation, He is always above it, so don’t go departing from Him with what you say.

Those are just a few really in our Holy and rich armoury, don’t let satan fool you, it is never what it looks like, it is always what the Word of God says it is.
