It is time to seek the Lord – Hosea 10:12.

Brethren, it’s time to seek the Lord till He comes and rains righteousness on us. Seeking the Lord is born of a hunger in the spirit for a deeper understanding, insight and revelation. It happens when our spirit yearns for a closer, more intimate fellowship and walk with Him. Our heart just begins to explode within with a very strong desire for the things of God. This hunger, yearning and desire propel and spur us on gently, yet so powerfully, to drop down in humility and surrender for a greater purpose. It may be that our usual, regular seeking will yield usual, regular results. That’s why the Lord births a stronger desire for Him in our hearts. It’s time for new vistas in spirit, it’s time to unhinge ourselves from what we’ve known to the unknown, it’s time for new levels and exploits in the Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is responsible for sowing and watering the seed within us for new quest and direction. Case in point is how Moses suddenly after almost 40 years would have an epiphany about his origin, identity and people. The Spirit of the Lord did it in Him. He knows just the time and season. He guides and leads us according to the precise will of God. He works within our hearts just as He did Moses, changing his desire for the pleasures and riches of Egypt for the yet unknown things of God. So revolutionary was Moses’ transformation that when he became of age refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. It was time for the birth of the new in his life, he had to flee to the country not knowing where he was going. It’s time to get lost in the unknown in Spirit so God can reveal Himself, His majesty and purpose to us.
